Applicable model: F2-210/F4-210

After TOS update, TNAS PC could not detect your TNAS, all LED indicators are always on, power button is not working; device could not be detected too after rebooting it without hard drives.

It's possible that the kernel is incomplete because of the failed update.

Follow the instructions to resolve this issue:
1. Download the following file:
Link for 1G model: https://dl.terra-master.com/cn/firmware.img
Link for 2G model: https://dl.terra-master.com/en/firmware.img
2. Prepare an USB flash drive and format it to FAT32 file system.
3. Copy the firmware.img file to the USB flash drive.
4. Connect the USB flash drive to your TNAS via the USB port on the rear panel.
5. Keep you TNAS connected with Ethernet cable through with which TNAS can access the Internet.
6. Power your TNAS on and boot it without any hard drives.
7. Leave it for about 15minutes to let the img file be installed.
8. TNAS would be turned off automatically when the installation is completed.
9. Remove the USB flash drive.
10. Press the power button to reboot your device and reinstall TOS.

Notes:
1. During the process of installing the kernel, please do not power off or shut your device down.
2. The available capacity of the USB flash drive should not be less than 15MB, and the file system must be FAT.
3. If the kernel installation is failed, please try again with another USB interface.

Hi, having same trouble Here, I did follow the procedure, but after hours nothing is changed.
Plz is it possible to arrange a remote session?
Nas is Brand New. Just used couple of times and already got few issues, whistling of harddisks, low Network speeds etc.
Today I tryed to update FW hoping before issues wil get a solution. Funny.

I want to Thank Terramaster support to be quick and effective.
Despite their very expert and helpful advice, I have applied a workaround to get my NAS F2-210 working again.

I consider SOLVED all ISSUES.

Your device is x86 and is not suitable for this guide. Hope you haven't tried installing the firmware. Here is the right way to Troubleshoot your problems，please refer to： viewtopic.php?f=75&t=921

is it likeley mine is bricked?

i have the nas mapped in "my pc" and i can seee all my data on it but i just cant login to the tnas software
which i want to do to sort my plex out and keep an eye on how the drives are running

all i get is a shiny new login page with the message

"your account has been disabled, please contact your system adminstrator"

who is the system admin?

i though it was me

ive even tried to reset the passowrd but nothing happens

this has been driving me mad now for about a month

Hi, Is it a user name with special characters?please try to log in with an account named admin. If you still cannot access, you can only reinstall the system. Please refer to this link:viewtopic.php?f=75&t=423

I never actually had a password i just logged in with admin

The admin password is set on the initialization page when you install TOS, and there is no default password.
Have you successfully logged in with an account that shows to be disabled before? If you have successfully logged in, it may be that the computer IP was blocked after the password was entered incorrectly. Please log in with another computer in the local area network, and then go to the control panel 》Security》 Account Security》Block List》 delete the blocked IP address.
