Just installed this and tried installing Ubuntu and expected it to be like installing on a PC but once Ubuntu 32bit was selected there was no option to select a downloaded iso file ...not overly failure with this so could be me so can you tell me how to install Ubuntu into virtual-box on the TNAS?

Hi, please upload the iso file to your TNAS first, and the click start, and choose the directory. If the iso file is saved under public, then the directory should be /mnt/md0/pubilc .

Thanks for that...thought i had tried that but will give it another go.

Just tried again and the Ubuntu file does not show up, should it be a a particular format of container file for it to show?

There is no specific demand on the format. Could you take some screenshots and post here?

Finally found the image under a different sub folder link but still cant seem to get it to install Ubuntu from it just keep getting error.
