F4-210 Reset, not Configured Any Longer

Post by david.lofstrom »

I've had my F4-210 running for several months. It has an 8TB + 8TB mirrored RAID as well as a 4TB + 4TB mirrored RAID. Several network shares are set up of course.

Today I found the shares were unavailable. The web interface was also unresponsive, so I power-cycled the NAS. Upon re-boot, the system acts as if it has never been configured. It doesn't even have an admin password assigned. I took out all the drives in case the data is still good. I've connected one of each RAID drive to another PC and I can see most files (although the names are messed up due to the recovery software) so I hope all the data is good.

How can I fix this? Did my NAS just up and quit?
