Is it possible to install and run Kodi? would it require using something like Docker or Virtual box?

You can install and run kodi on your smart TV, and it could access the media files in TNAS with DLNA media server app (in TNAS) installed.

I could if my TV was not Samsung and runs Tizan and not Linux, but that is not what i was asking can kodi be run from the NAS like Plex?
