Can I also integrate the Terramaster F2-210 as a network drive in Windows without having to use the TOS software and then access the created folders?
Or is it absolutely necessary to use the NAS via the software?

yes, you do first need to create a share in the TOS web admin
but then any computer you can just navigate to \\NASDRIVE\ShareName
it will probably ask you to login with a user that you have set up in the TOS Web admin
but there is NO requirement to install the TOS Software on any computer, not even to set up the NAS drive in the first place
