As indicated in the manual:

There is a LED that will flash "red" in the event of drive failure.
Is there any other way to notify users when one of the drives (even for example in the D5-300) is experiencing failure, WITHOUT having to look at the LED lights?
For example, maybe some kind of email notification, or 3rd party tool?
I use "Hard Disk Sentinel" to monitor drives in regular Windows SAN server for example.
If I were to plug the D2-310 into a windows machine with this type of tool, could it effectively report back on drive failure, as Windows looks at TerraMaster RAID enclosures as ONE (1) drive?
D2-310: email notifications?
Re: D2-310: email notifications?
I am sorry to tell you that there is no such notification to inform you that drive failed occurred.
