I'm experiencing a read/write issue between drives one and two on my D2-310 in RAID1. NOTE: Be it known I have replaced both hard drives with brand new ones and the issue still persists.
The issue is that drive one is seemingly not reading or writing as fast as drive two causing my project to lock up until drive one catches up. When I work on a project, everything stops while waiting for drive one to write the data that drive 2 has already completed. This problem started with my original WD Gold 8TB Data Center Drives. As mentioned above, I replaced the drives with 2 brand new Toshiba 6 TB NAS drives and the problem is still happening. Is there some sort of circuitry issue in the box that is causing drive one to respond slower for some reason? The indicator light on drive two flashes for a couple seconds then illuminates steady but drive one continues to flash for as much as 30 seconds to a minute longer before going steady and the project resumes.
Any help would be appreciated.
