Restore Raid 1

Post by HaDu »

One of my two Western Digital 4 TB harddisk in my Terramaster D2-310 broke down, I got a new harddisk from Western Digital.

While waiting for the replacement I took the still working harddisk out of the Terramaster and used it as a stand alone disk because I needed some of the photofiles on that disk.

When the new WD harddisk arrived I placed the still working one and the new harddisk back into the Terramaster. The three green lights are on but the Terramaster doesn't show in Finder or in Disk Utility (iMac 0217).

Can some one explain me how to restore the Raid 1 configuration so that all my photofiles are mirrored on both disks??

Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Do you mean to use the bad disk as a single disk after repairing Raid 1?
