Hi,
D5-300 prompts that the RAID mode has been degraded, indicating that the hard disk in the RAID array is damaged.
You need to check and repair your fifth hard drive with an orange light or replace it with a new hard drive.
How to know exactly whether your hard drive is healthy?viewtopic.php?f=75&t=1125

Thanks that's clear,
but in fact with my D2 maybe i made a mistake initially was in orange led (I've change it when D5&PC was closed, then i've relaunched all, as nothing happened, I stopped all again and replace the new D2 by the previous D2, and now it seems no more recognized and i'm afraid that i'm loosing it for the Raid5. is it irreparable ? or can i do something before repairing D5 disk ?
do i still repair the D5 disk first ?
Best best regards
Did you mean that after the HDD2 indicator turned orange, you replaced it with a new disk after shutting down?
Which hard drives does your Raid 5 consist of?
Does only the HDD5 indicator light show orange now?

Hi,
If your Raid 5 consists of HDD1, HDD3, HDD4, and HDD5, you can now replace HDD5 with a new hard disk or use software to check and repair bad blocks and reinsert the HDD5 for synchronization.
Has your HDD2 created a single-disk mode now? Maybe you can use the software to see HDD2 after repairing Raid 5.

OK; initially as you've understood D2 was part of the RAID5, now it's unreleased
But there is something strange because on the event log (see the jointed pic) N° is referring on D2 I 'm confuse is D5 wrong as orange LED indicates or D2 even with green LED......
OK, you just need to replace Disk 2 to resynchronize Raid 5 according to the method provided above.
The method of repairing Raid 1 is also applicable to repairing Raid 5. https://support.terra-master.com/faqs/t ... h_a_D2_310

Thanks again; .... but see the pics nows disk' which i didn't touch in any way is also unreleased
the LED on disk 2 is fixed (as all leds)
do i let it trying RAID5 repairing ? or replace the original disk2 and change the disk 5 (orange led)
sorry to disturb you but yor help is great.... and hopeffully it'll succeed
Regards
The RAID5 mode can only allow one hard disk to be damaged.
If more than two hard disks are damaged, the RAID5 structure will be damaged and the data cannot be read. Now the RAID5 mode has damaged two hard disks and can only find a third party to do data recovery.
If you have other backups, you can rebuild Raid after replacing the bad disk and checking the original hard disk.
Can you try to plug and unplug the hard drive again after turning off TDAS?
After rebooting, check whether the hard disk can be displayed, which lights will be orange.
Note: Do not change the order of the hard disk
