Monitor RAID Status From Host

Post by ndonegan »

Hi,

I have a D2-310 setup in RAID 1 mode and hooked up to a Debian server. I'm happy with the performance, however I can find no way of monitoring the RAID status from the host. I've tried looking to see if it's exposed via Smart, but found nothing.

Is there any way from the host of querying the status of the RAID? I'm hoping to put this in an outhouse attached for slightly remote backup, and I won't be able to see the lights if a drive goes dodgy!

Thanks.

Niall.

TerraMaster D2-310 is a RAID storage with on board hardware RAID controller. As I know, there is no third party tools which can monitor the RAID status right now.
