Post by TMroy »

Troubleshooting
Applicable model: TerraMaster TD2-Thunderbolt 3/D2-Thunderbolt 3 (D2-330)

If you have installed hard drives into TerraMaster device, the drive indicators green, and all drives show working well. but you failed to create a RAID, the drive indicators remain red after creation complete.

Try following solution:
Step 1: Rotate the switch’s pointer to SINGLE mode;
Step 2: Press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds until the HDD indicators turn to red from green;
Step 3: After about 3 second, the HDD indicators automatically turn to green from red, this means your previous RAID is erased and disk array set to SINGLE mode now;
Step 4: Rotate the switch’s pointer to your desired RAID mode;
Step 5: Press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds until the HDD indicators turn to red from green;
Step 6: After about 3 seconds, the HDD will indicators automatically turn to green from red. RAID creation is complete.

Note:
In the whole process, both of your TerraMaster device and your computer need to stay powered on and connected.
