I have a D5 thunderbolt 3 with a RAID 5. WIndows 10. RAID is now critical and want to be sure I know the procedure to replace a drive.
On the Logical tab of RAID Manager Pro, I select maintenance
Select Add
Select Stop
Remove defective disk and install new one
Then select Rebuild?
I replace the bad drive by hot-swapping, not with unit off, is that correct? I do not have to prepare or format drive first, just install?
If this is wrong can you provide the correct way?
Thank You
Replace drive and rebuild
Re: Replace drive and rebuild
Hi!
The device supports hot-swap, but the buzzer will beep.
