I've got the D4-330 Thunderbolt 3 and noticed very slow speed. I'm using it as raid 1/0 with 4 drives -- strip of mirrors 20TB. However the maximum R/W speeds are in range of 40MB/s.
The enclosure is connected via active Thunderbolt3 cable to the iMac Pro, running latest drivers and Raid Manager pro.
The four drives are ST10000D.
To compare, if i mount the same drives on the antiquated Promise Pegasus R4, with Thunderbolt2 to Thunderbolt3 dongle, in the same Raid 1/0 configuration (20TB volume) i'm getting average speeds of 210MB/s. R/W
Please advise.
