Hi,
I have a PC with a USB Type-C v3.2 port on the back.
I bought a D5 Thunderbolt 3 enclosure thinking that the Thunderbolt connection would be backward compatible with USB-C.
When I connect it with a thunderbolt cable, windows finds the device, but will only install a Billboard Device driver.
When I tried to update the driver using the driver you supply, windows will not accept it.
So I also tried the RAID Manager PRO and it could not find the device (which did not surprise me given that I had trouble with the driver)
Is this all to be expected?
Do I have to fit a thunderbolt card to my PC in order to be able to use it?

Re: Connecting Windows PC to Thunderbolt Device
Hi, may I ask whether the transmission protocol of Type-C interface of your PC is Thunderbolt 3 or USB3.1?
D3 Thunderbolt3, D4 Thunderbolt3 and D8 Thunderbolt3
Device support Thunderbolt instead of USB.
D3 Thunderbolt3, D4 Thunderbolt3 and D8 Thunderbolt3
Device support Thunderbolt instead of USB.

Re: Connecting Windows PC to Thunderbolt Device
Sorry!
D5 Thunderbolt 3 is a PC external device that does not support USB protocol connection. It can only be connected to the PC Thunderbolt 3 interface.
