During my move somehow the PSU to my DAS was lost.
I have found one that I hope is okay to use instead, however, I would like to check here first.
It has an output of 15v and 3amps, would this be okay to use please?
Thanks,
Simon.

Re: Lost PSU
Unless you want to damage your TDAS, do not use that found adapter.
A D5-300 is expecting an input of 12V@7.5A (90W); you might be able to get away with a lower amperage output adapter, however the voltage must be 12 Volts.
Re: Lost PSU
The PSU must be 12V, and to support 5 drives, 6A is the minimum requirement depending on your hard drive model.

Re: Lost PSU
Phew, I thought the higher voltage would make up for the lower amps.
When I get paid next week I will check ebay for a 12v 7.5a
thank you both so much for that info.
