HI
I have used transmission on many variants of Unix all have allowed me to stop -.>edit the config file ->restart and hey presto it works the way I want but TOS over writes the file
so I have a few questions not all about transmission though
1. how do i stop the config file being overridden
2. why would you overwrite it in the first place?
3. why do have a default sharing public and appdata?? that just blows me away!
4.when people ask about these share why don't you tell them they can simply hide them?
5. why are home shares /home/username/home? makes for a very confusing filesystem
sorry if I am being a bit short but after 46 phone calls from users all freaked out "oh no I think I broke something!!!!!!" and ontop of that this was installed by someone else!
Martyn
