Has anyone else had an issue with high CPU usage with the Plex Media Server?? I am using PMS version 1.23.2.4656 and my CPU usage is always very high. I checked it with the resource monitor tab (see attached image) in the NAS desktop and it consistently reads at about 90-100%.
Thanks for any insights . .
I know that the version of PMS is not the latest but, honestly, I am a bit reluctant to update it since the last time I updated it took me several days to get the PMS back to where it had been. BTW, Plex is the ONLY app running on the NAS.PMS CPU Usage

Are you scanning your large number of files or playing high-definition video when you check the progress?

@TMRyan
No - no scanning and no playing any video whatsoever. This happens while the system, both the NAS and Plex, are totally idle.

As i said, Plex is a third-party app, we have no idea what it is doing there. So I will recommend you try to find support from plex tech team.
