@V8Triker,

When you moved from using Plex as a "normal" TOS application to using it inside Docker did you lose your Plex database?? I understand that all the movies, TV shows, etc. files would not be touched but were you able to retain all of the metadata for your media or were you forced to rebuild the database from scratch??

If not is anyone aware of how to retain the metadata when transferring Plex to a Docker container?

Thanks . .

I did the Docker Plex as a clean, base, install.
It will not use the existing Plex metadata, as it is totally separate. I had to scan all the films in, and make the adjustments.

You have me wondering if it is possible to share the metatdata between two installs.
Could be a job for tomorrow morning :)

Since I finally decided to register, I thought I would take a minute to say *thank you* for the post you kindly shared here: viewtopic.php?f=51&t=2236 I plan on taking advantage of your wonderful write up in the coming days. (Just need to get a bit more familiar with Docker first.)
