Re: [ OctoPrint ] The snappy web interface for your 3D printer
In the meantime, thank you for your hard work! I ask you one thing, in this case the NAS must be connected to the printer via USB right?
Re: [ OctoPrint ] The snappy web interface for your 3D printer
I suppose serial connection should work also if you have a usb2serial adapter that is well detected by NAS
Re: [ OctoPrint ] The snappy web interface for your 3D printer
Hi,
I'm a newbie.
I have Octoprint installed on a Raspberry Pi4 and connected and running fine with an Ender 3.
I wanted to centralize everything on a NAS and for this purpose I bought a F2-220 and upgraded it to TOS 5.1.24.
I have read that the F2-220 is not compatible with this version of Octoprint but despite this I installed it
Octoprint starts but doesn't connect to printer: no ttyUSBx in tty list.
There are only ttySx but the connection is not made.
Can you help me?
Thanks for your works
Pasquale

Try to install the additional kernel drivers
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=2689
After you install/setup the kernel drivers, if you have knowledge on connecting with SSH to your NAS, run this command after you connect the printer
Send me the result

Re: [ OctoPrint ] The snappy web interface for your 3D printer
You cannot map the USB port to OctoPrint directly, only a serial port. I am going to play with this a little over the week, and see what I come up with...
