It works! Very nice, thank you for your effort. I just used template I user all the linux VMs i have and now the disks are reporting correctly, number of prcesses, etc.

The only thing is, that config file was not editable from the Terra OS, had to ssh into the NAS and update /mnt/md0/appdata/MOD_CONFIG/Telegraf/telegraf.conf from there.

Just wondering how easy is to prepare the environment for packaging the apps?

You cannot modify the config from the menu Configuration Files ?
The difficulty to create a working tpk file depends from app to app. Can take days or weeks.

That's strange, the "edit config" is completely empty on my system. Not sure if that matters at all but my NAS is ARM version.

I posted it here and the workaround in case anyone else would like to run Telegraf and have this issue. However I can imagine anyone using Telegraf is going to be computer savvy enough to figure it out themselves :)

Thank you very much again for doing this.

Yes it's related to arm OS, I don't have such device to test all the functions  , but some other arm users have reported also that the config is not loaded in UI
