As above, tried all I can think of, and it still won't run, just an icon on the taskbar and that it tried all the compatibilities etc even installed Java as initially I had a Java error come up on installing but no still no joy tried enabling some lesser net framework capabilities, but it still won't run, so what is the problem?

What language is your computer OS? Language compatibility issues will lead to unsuccessful installation. Will be fixed in the next version.

English, and I could install it and run normally on a Windows 10 machine.

Have you tried compatibility mode? Just a thought.

TNAS PC 5 worked fine for me.

Windows 11 Home 22H2 22621.160

1. Downloaded TNAS PC 5 (5.0.22) from viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3358
2. Extracted the ZIP
3. Double click the EXE
4. Choose more info > allow anyway "because unverified developer"
5. Double click desktop icon
6. Before application will fully launch, a firewall approval prompts, allow firewall rule
7. App opens and immediately finds my TNAS

I suggest making sure the firewall rule is applied and check marked in:
Press: Windows Key + S
Search: Firewall
Choose: Windows Defender Firewall
Choose: Allow an app or feature through the Windows Defender Firewall
Choose: Change settings
Check: TNAS PC and also make sure Private is checked
Click OK and try running TNAS PC again

If that does not work, uninstall, remove the terra master folder from program files or program files (x86), reinstall following the steps above and try again.

Thank you for your sharing. Firewall is the factor stopping the TNAS PC running properly.
Or you can try the latest version just updated today, the version is 5.0.23

TNAS PC 5.0.27 seems to work OK on my Windows 11 now but still pretty slow to open, and i still have to log into the TOS 5 machine on the TNAS PC page and not the web interface like the TOS 4 is this by design or does this need more work?

Yes the TNAS PC is very slow to open, the earlier versions were even slower, I have had Java notifications with the older versions but couldn't find what the problem was, and I have tried with virus protection etc turned off with no difference.

Are you talking about the time it takes to open the TNAS PC first time? How long you need to wait?
