Unable to access via web client (local network)

Post by Spiritus »

Hello,

I did an update on my nas via the normal automatic method, however since the update I am unable to access it via its local ip address through Microsoft Edge (this happens on multiple devices).

I can still access it via windows explorer and can see it via the TNAS PC app.

Any ideas?

Thanks :).

Hello,

Thanks for this, unfortunately it did not work :(. I have only ever changed the admin password and not the root password before. Is there a default that this is set to?

I receive this error
login as: root
Keyboard-interactive authentication prompts from server:
| Password:
End of keyboard-interactive prompts from server
Access denied
Keyboard-interactive authentication prompts from server:
| Password:

I have tried logging in with the admin account (which I can) however I don't have enough permissions to follow the next step of the link you sent.

Thanks :).

Hi! The password of the root user is the same as the password of the administrator user set during initialization. You need to log in to the administrator user first, and then enter "sudo su" to switch to the root user.
