How to enable .htm or .html files in the webserver

Post by stapetz »

Hi there,

per default only .php files are processed in the webserver. This is also shown as a message on the TOS Desktop in the configuration app for the webserver.

Where can I enable, that also .html or .htm files will be delivered from the server and where do I tell the system that the default file in a directory should be the index.html?

I connected via ssh to the NAS and I found the http.conf, but I don't know a) whether this is the right file to edit and b) what I have to add in the file and c) how I have to restart the webserver that all changes take effect.

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

Do you want to see your own .html file on the website, if so, just put the .html file in the root directory of the website (default is appdata/), click the link to open it.
