F4-220 failed to start. HDD Volume not accessible.

Post by kenchan »

Hello. I have F4-220 with four 8T HDDs.
Yesterday I turned off the F4-220 and today I turned it on. Then the HDD volumes were no longer displayed on the PC.
When I access F4-220 with a web browser, TOS is not displayed and the wizard screen for initialization is displayed.
How can I get the NAS back to work as before?
Thanks.

May I know which TOS version is running on your TNAS? There is a possibility of file system corruption on your device. Please follow the instruction for troubleshooting.

@TMroy
Thank you for your advice.
I ssh to F4-220 and ran e2fsck command.
Then the RAID5 volume was successfully came back. Now I can access the NAS as before.
