Factory reset

Post by sound »

Hello.....
I wanted to reset my F4-220 and restore it to factory settings
(I've already backed up everything ....), but it won't let me .....
The screen remains with the wheel spinning and nothing happens .... (for two days).
So I tried to delete the volume but this too keeps showing me the screen
with the writing "Eliminazione in corso" (Deletion in progress), also for a couple of days like this ........
And the files on the hard drives are always there.
Is this right? What can I do?
Hello and thanks

Is still with the "LOADING" screen after a couple of hours .......
Is this right? I remember that I did the factory reset and it downloaded and installed the TOS for me.
About how long does it take to get the TOS screen?
Thank you.
TNAS PC tells me it is not initialized ......

Hi,
Do you mean that the browser keeps showing Loading after the TNAS PC clicks to log in?
You have backed up all your data, so you can try to use N-1 hard drives to install the system (N refers to the number of hard drives you build RAID 5). Then insert the unplugged hard drive.
If you want to continue using the array, choose Repair the array: viewtopic.php?f=79&t=1545
If you want to recreate the storage pool, use the uninserted hard disk to directly insert and recreate the storage pool and volume, then delete all the volumes and storage pools, and then you can recreate the array you want. Do not refresh the browser interface when deleting .
Deleting volumes and storage pools will delete all data from the hard disk.

Yes.....
Ok, I try.....

Ok, now it's gone and I got the start screen ....
And now I'm recreating the Raid
Unlike yesterday, I only inserted the first of the four hard drives
and only after the final screen, I entered the others.
Could this be what made the difference?
Thanks a lot anyway.....
