Hey
is there a way, to make the NAS automatically copy Drive #1 to Drive #2 at a specific time every day? So that Drive #2 is a 100 % copy of Drive #1.
My NAS is the F2-210, Version 4.1.21
Thank you
Backup to Drive #2
Re: Backup to Drive #2
Hi, you can set two drives works independently and create one volume one each of them.
Create one shared folder on each of volume.
Then install the Duple Backup from application center.
Set a scheduled backup task to back from one shared folder to the other.
Hopefully this is what you need.

Re: Backup to Drive #2
Hi Jadius,
I am sorry to tell you that there is no Duple Backup for F2-210 for the time being. You can use Rsync backup to backup your data from volume 1 to volume 2. You should create shared folders on each of volume.
Please set your TNAS as Rsync server, you can configure it at TOS Control panel – Network services –File services –Rsync server as the following picture shows. Please be noted that the folders you created on volume 2 which will be set as destination folder should be added to “Authorized directory”. Then you can go to Backup on TOS desktop, and check “Rsync Backup” to set up your task.

Re: Backup to Drive #2
this is just a silly comment, but if this is your intention why wouldnt you set up the drives in raid so it auto backs up onto two drives? and also backup to a USB drive?

Re: Backup to Drive #2
Or You can just set two drives as RAID 1 configuration, then these two drives will keep all the same wothout doing any backup.
