Applicable models：F2-220、F2-420、F4-220、F4-420、F5-420、F2-221、F2-421、F2-422、F4-221、F4-421、F4-422、F5-221 、F5-225、F5-421、F5-422、F8-421、F8-422、F2-423、F4-423、T6-423、T9-423、T12-423、T9-450；

This update includes the following bug fixes for the previous version:
1. Fixed some issues of storage pool.
2. Fixed some issues of system log.
3. Fixed some issues of hardware and power.
4. Optimized some Settings of network services.
5. Optimized some Settings of app center.
6. Optimized some Settings of file managemer.

Important Notes
1. This update is only for TOS 5.0.176 or later versions. If your TOS version does not meet the requirements, please update to TOS 5 by reinstalling TOS.
2. Under normal circumstances, the system update will not affect the data in your hard drives, but for your data safety, it is strongly recommended that you back up your data before the update!
3. TOS 5.1 requires new versions of TNAS PC (Windows OS: V5.0.35 / macOS: V5.0.33) and TNAS mobile 3 (Android: V3.1.x / iOS: V3.1.x).
4. The kernel of TOS 5.1 has been updated to 5.15. Since the Linux kernel has removed the Intel Celeron J1800/J1900 GPU drivers from 5.15, the models of this platform no longer support GPU hardware video acceleration. If you are a user of this series of models and need to use GPU hardware video acceleration, do not update TOS 5.1! Models involved: F2-220/F2-420/F4-220/F4-420/F5-420[/list]

How to update your TOS?

Manual update:
1. Download the update package: TOS 5.1.24 (md5：e6147617237a05f5b86c32f2ea4880a0)
2. Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > system;
3. Under the "Manual update", upload the update package;
4. Click "Apply";
5. After the system update is complete, you need to refresh your web browser;
6. Your TNAS's IP address may change after the system update, if you are not able to connect to your TNAS with the previous IP, you need to search the new IP again with the TNAC PC client;

How to initialize/reinstall TOS?
Installation instructions:
1. Your current TOS system version must not be lower than 5.0.176;If your TOS version does not meet the requirements, please update to TOS 5 by reinstalling TOS.In order to protect your data security, please back up your data in advance!
2. TNAS PC needs to install version 5.0.19 or above, otherwise, it may not work normally.
3. TNAS Mobile needs to install version 3.1.0 or above, otherwise, it may not work normally.
4. For system security, the official release of TOS 5 cancels the root user. Users who have installed TOS 5.0 beta please reinstall the official release version of TOS 5.1.

How to install TOS 5.1?
1. Download the TOS 5.1.24 installation package(md5：0ccc4d28bf344445ad54c52efec7090c)；
2. Log in to your TOS, go to Control Panel > General Settings > Factory Default, tick "Reset to Factory Default" and click "Apply" to clear your system;
3. Your TNAS will automatically restart and enter the initialization guide page; if you cannot enter the initialization page, please use the TNAS PC to search for your TNAS again, and enter the IP address of your TNAS in the browser address bar;
4. Select the "Custom" mode during the initialization process, upload the TOS 5.1 installation package, and wait for the installation to complete;
5. After the system installation is completed, the system will automatically restart; (It will take a few minutes to remount the storage pool and volume after the system restarts. At this time, the page will be in the Loading state, please wait!)
6. Follow the instructions on the page to complete the superuser settings;
7. After the system is installed, you need to clear the browser cache, otherwise, some system pages may not be displayed correctly.

Can you please elaborate which specific driver support has been removed in 5.15?
Celeron J1800/J1900 (Baytrail, gen7 GPU) and assorted N series seems still supported within both:
libva-intel-driver https://github.com/intel/libva
intel-vaapi-driver https://github.com/intel/intel-vaapi-driver
and I could not find any reference about such removal in those repositories (nor anyone questioning it), nor in phoronix news.
Thanks to provide any pointer to this removal.

Celeron J1800/J1900 (Baytrail, gen7 GPU) and assorted N series seems still supported within both:

Has TFM Backup been abandoned? I can't find it anymore and personally it was the only application that did what I needed without many frills.
