Can, you elaborate why please? (earlier 3.1.13 / 3.1.14 had few issues, but 3.1.15 fixed them along with patching additional critical CVEs)

Where I can download full image of TOS 4.2.41? Or you mean I must downgrade TOS and get new bugs after it?

TMroy wrote: 30 Apr 2023, 14:29 Sorry, my fault. There is no SMB option in TOS 4.2 for Time Machine backup. Currently, the Netatalk is not able to be updated. I will keep you informed as soon as it is possible.
Can we have an update please, and state TM's position on this long-standing issue (over 1 year)?
  1. Netatalk/AFP won't be fixed on ARM, and all related zero-day CVEs will be left wide open
  2. Netatalk/AFP should be disabled and TimeMachine feature should not be used anymore on ARM TOS (despite it was a product selling point)
  3. ARM TOS update is in the works with fixed Netatalk 3.1.15: please give an estimate date for release.
Thanks for a clear statement (a,b or c).

to be fair this isnt the first time, BTRFS was meant to be a selling point also, this has also since been removed because it didnt work

Not only did BTRFS not work, it cause significant loss of data for those of us that trusted the system. I lost about 8tb of data myself.

thankfully i had full USB backups of my data everytime i had to wipe the system and start again so didnt lose anything just got frustrating having to copy everything back off the USB onto the main drive again, of course they just simply blamed my seagate barracuda drive not being on the "approved" list although 3 years down the line and it works perfectly now its ext4 and not BTRFS

Re: TOS 4.2.41(64-bit) is Released for Update to support php8.1

Post by sisovinchieng »

my php 7.2.11 (cli) (NTS) on TOS 4.2.41- which is officially End of Life. This version of PHP, 7.2.11, will stop being supported by this backup software in the future. We want to upgrade using PHP 8.1 or later for best results. How to do this or waiting for the next released version of TOS?
