TOS 5.0.130 (x.86) is Released for Update

Release Notes

Applicable models: F2-220, F2-221, F2-420, F2-421, F2-422, F4-220, F4-221, F4-420, F4-421, F4-422, F5-220, F5-221, F5-225, F5-420, F5-421, F5-422, F8-421, F8-422, F2-423, f4-423, T6-423, T9-423, T12-423;

This update includes the following bug fixes for the previous version:
1. Optimized some settings of privileges.
2. Optimized some settings of file manager.
3. Fixed some issues of shared folders.
4. Fixed some issues of user settings.
5. Fixed some issues of notification.
6. Fixed some issues of remote access.
7. Fixed some issues of HyperLock volumes.
8. Fixed some issues of SSD cache.
9. Fixed some issues of external storage devices.
10. Fixed some issues of app center.

Important Notes
1. This update is only for TOS 5.0.120 or later versions.
2. Under normal circumstances, the system update will not affect the data in your hard drives, but for your data safety, it is strongly recommended that you back up your data before the update!

How to update your TOS?

Manual update:
1. Download the update package: TOS 5.0.130
2. Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > system;
3. Under the "Manual update", upload the update package;
4. Click "Apply";
5. After the system update is complete, you need to refresh your web browser;
6. Your TNAS's IP address may change after the system update, if you are not able to connect to your TNAS with the previous IP, you need to search the new IP again with the TNAC PC client;

Important Note:
After updating to TOS 5.0.130, you need to update your current TNAS PC to 5.0.27 or a later version, or you may not able to search your TNAS device.
1. TNAS PC 5.0.27 for Windows OS
2. TNAS PC 5.0.27 for macOS

It is recommended that you uninstall the previous version before installing this version of TNAS PC.

I just finished the update - Thanks for your help and your team's hard work.
The F5-422 running TOS5 seems to be much happier running these last updates : )

The Plex update in the app centre fixed the issue with Plex not being able to see other volumes. Thank you!

Installed this version.
Tried to copy 20GB file and hangs on Terramaster f4-221 shared folder with encryption enabled.
Other files < 4GB are ok, but with large files it's not working.
Filesystem is BTRFS, single disk.
CPU usage also >90%.

I want to complain as TOS5 is now working perfectly, I can install third party apps such as the Unifi Controller, its stable, transfer speeds are good, I am not having issues logging in, I didn't recognise it as TOS5 at all ;)

Seriously, the progress made with TOS 5 and with you guys letting us all know what the updates include is very welcome. A huge thank you to the Software team and to you guys who man the forum. I know it's not been easy with the criticism from sone of us, but you guys stuck at it and have made a product to be proud of. Well done I am excited by the future of TOS5 and Terra-master.

We're on the right track with the firmware. Mediaindex is currently deactivated after a restart and no covers are displayed for films, although they are available.
The rest seems to be working fine.

Hello.

I have been waiting several weeks to see if certain errors are corrected since I updated to TOS 5, but since I see that they are not, I explain them here:

Since the last PLEX updates, I am not able to see my folders where I have the media items.
To be able to explain myself, in my case they are in Volume1/Public/Multimedia/Films.

Well, from Plex, I can only access Volume1/Public and according to Plex Explorer, the folder is empty. (Like the rest of the folders on the server, which I can access up to the first level, and they appear as empty).

On the other hand, one of the most used features was to create shared folders on the server. I sent the link to my clients and everything was perfect.

Well, since I updated to TOS 5, I have never been able to use this. It always failed, for whatever reason, and has never worked properly. After the last updates, when I send the link, the first thing is that the browser gives an error for the certificate and for not going in HTTPS.
If you sign in and try to download the shared files, you always get the same error:

"internal error"

If you have any help, it will be appreciated.
