Re: TOS 5.0.129 (x.86) is Released for Update
So this says for 5.0.120 or later. I have not yet moved from 4.
Is there a way to upgrade directly to this version? If not, can you start a thread and maintain it that provides all the steps to get to current version?
Thanks.

Updated and everything fail. My browser's screen becomes white after some minutes logged and no choice to reboot or operating !
I'm now reinstalling this new release from scratch again.... A nightmare !
Next one I think will move to v4 ...

I am one of the biggest critics of TOS5.0 (Read the Beta thread), but the last couple of releases have actually been OK. (Not brilliant, but not as bad as previous ones). Does your problem happen with every browser/device? It does seem to be a bit odd with different browsers, it also seems to drop the previous IP settings and permissions.

terribly sorry! We currently only provide the installation package of 5.0.125, you need to reinstall 5.0.125 first, and then update to the latest version online.

Media Index is deactivated again after a restart and thumbnails are not displayed even though it was activated.
Re: TOS 5.0.129 (x.86) is Released for Update
umount from my clients and pending update from the gui and shell
finished download and installed the newest patch x.x.129 over x.x.128 using https WebGUI and rebooting
Post boot and now to the generic status screen on boot :
Checking file system..., please wait!
If an abnormality is found in the file system, the system will repair it,
which may take up to several hours.
Took about 10 to 40mins or so.
Sounded like the system rebooted again then :
Loading..., please wait!
Once the system is back and WebGui are up - login and all seems well :)
testing mount -a = works and the share folders are still active
testing putty = ssh shell works as expected
services are all working and no zombies ( I do see a lot of plex chown -/Vol/plex traffic but nothing stuck, just a S(start) and D(deamon) action in top )
[rootuserremoved@TNAS-F5-422 ~]# ps -aux | grep plex
rootuserremoved 7947 3.7 0.0 22932 2284 ? D 10:22 0:14 chown -R plex:admin /Volume1/Plex
rootuserremoved 7949 0.0 0.0 13936 2724 ? S 10:22 0:00 /bin/sh /etc/init.d/plex start
rootuserremoved 7973 3.7 0.0 22932 2284 ? D 10:22 0:14 chown -R plex:admin /Volume1/Plex
rootuserremoved 8022 3.8 0.0 6624 1912 ? D 10:22 0:15 chown -R plex:media /Volume1/Plex
pending more testing
Great Work - My TNAS-F5-422 works as expected :)

@TMsupport,
Well done guys TOS5 has improved with each release, thank you for your hard work. I have complained about TOS 5 in the past, but you really have made significant progress. Its very stable, great transfer speeds, you just need to release the wrapper stuff for third party apps.
