Since I did the update I can no longer connect via smb to my USB HDDs on the NAS. He always asks me for my credentials but even entering them doesn't work, he keeps asking them. Instead, I access the hard drive (public, etc ..). If I connect via the web to the NAS page I can see everything, and Jellyfin also correctly sees the files on the USB HD. All this after the update, first smb did not ask me for anything and I also accessed the USB HDDs.

now i'm at work, as soon as i get back i try but ... i'm linux user, i saw that the guidelines are for windows users. Also everything worked before .
The password or username seems not to be accepted but how come it works on the NAS drive and not the USB drive? I only have "!" as a special character in the password (which, I repeat, works for other disks)

I tried to follow the guide by changing the password. For the "usbshare1" and "usbshare2" disks the method does not work, I can access "public" and "appdata" but neither of the two "usbshare" disks

The user is an administrator. But this morning I noticed that going into groups, even as admin, I can't change the permissions of the two USB drives. It doesn't make me check read / write permissions ... for any user.

thats correct TM doesnt allow you to change permissions on USB drives (its been reported for atleast 2 years now) its a design feature apparently i dont know if TOS 5 will allow you to control this, but as far as 4.x is concerned its locked to admin users only to access them (and with the latest few versions there is an issue that write access is buggy if you try and transfer a large file to a USB share it will error)

i only use my USB for backup purposes so admin locked viewing makes sense for my use i'm sorry i cant be more any more help

Thanks anyway for your interest! I hope to solve why it is inconvenient for me to have to access the web interface to move files

Now I understand, I thought I was the one to do something wrong !! Thanks for the reply, I await the update or a patch that corrects the error. For now I will adapt and will use FTP. :D
