Thanks
To be honest I’m not that bothered as even at that time the NAS is not usually in use
im guessing because it is just a display issue, its never been a high importance for TM to fix either, but just pointing out it has nothing to do with the latest update as its been happening for me since 4.1.31 atleast

I'm not sure if this is just me, but the fan speed in 'Smart mode' is noticeably higher than it was previously. Even when not in use, the fan is set to Medium speed if the fan mode is on Smart. Previously it would run on Low almost all of the time which made sense. It's annoying as I can easily hear the fan, so I ended up just setting it on low speed since I rarely push the CPU. I did restart the device but the issue persisted.

Hi! When you set the fan's working mode to smart, its speed is related to the temperature of the hard disk, and the speed will increase when the temperature is high.

Hi! Please check the running status of the docker service and JDownloader container.
I never had docker installed only the *.tpk file from the developer forum here. it worked until I installed the new TOS. I can't find how to return to 4.2.15 version, may youu help me?
The new TOS 4.2.16 is not affecting the jDownloader, at least on the x86 platform (tested)
If is not a big issue for you to reconfigure jDownloader again, from app WebUI you can go to Application Control >> Remove config and start with a clean config.

Otherwise we can chat in private and try to fix it.

This maybe nothing related but I did some work on lowering my home energy to around 140w when house is idle, around the same sort of time of the latest upgrade I spotted that my base usage was actually 350w

Following on from the topic of fan speed and hard drive hibernate I logged into the nas drive and confirmed that my hard drives were set to sleep 30 minutes and the fan speed is set to smart last night

I saved the settings and low and behold today my energy base line is now back to 140w, can’t see anything else different in the home so make of that what you want

Can anyone else replicate this?

I cant agree with that. I tested, to set the fans on smart, locked in the Hardware the Fan Speed, changed to low and they were lower as om low speed (about 1100/minutes)
