f4-210 upgrading from 2x 12tb raid 1 to 3x 12tb raid 5

Post by imran »

I had a raid 1, 2 disk configuration. I added another disk and went to storage pool, upgrade to raid 5 and selected the newly added disk.

After that, I was not able to log into the nas for about 2 hours and then it came back up. I can log in and it shows the storage pool as raid 5 with all 3 disks however the volume size is still the same. I thought going from 2x 12tb raid 1 to 3x 12tb raid 5 would give size of 24tb, however it still shows 12tb.

Is there a way to get it to update/resize without losing the data?
