Hello,
My NAS is currently configured in Raid1 with 2 Western Digital WD40EFZX NASware 3.0 4TB. I want to add two disks to increase my storage capacity.
I have a problem adding the two new hard drives (Seagate IronWolf 4TB ST4000VNZ06 and
Seagate BarraCuda ST4000DM005)
On the nas, the 4 green lights are on, indicating the presence of the hanging disks, but when I enter the nas to configure it, it does not see them.
Result 2 Discs out of 4 recognized and impossible to create a new raid1 or to have my raid 1 evaluated towards a raid 10.
What do you recommend for to succeed in my configuration without losing my data?
Thanks in advance.

Re: hard drive not found
please restart your TNAS and try again. If the issue persist, try to clean the superblock on your drives and try again.

Re: hard drive not found
When I put a hard disk in slot 1 the disk works
Re: hard drive not found
It looks like slots 3 and 4 are not recognizing your new hard drive, perhaps because they haven't been used for a long time leading to slot gold finger oxidation, you can try using a toothbrush, eraser, etc to wipe the slot gold finger.

Re: hard drive not found
I tried All hard drives on slot 1 2 3 4.
On slot 1 and 2 all disks work (All hard disks are new). On the 3 and 4 None works.
Here is the photo of the hard drive support.

Re: hard drive not found
Have you tried to clean the connecting fingers of slot 3 and 4?
