I have just bought two Ironwolf 8TB drives.
Both are recently manufactured, one in August and the other in November 2021.
The most recent one is recognised as an IHM enabled drive without a problem. The other one is not.
I want to set them up in a RAID1 array, but I am hesitant, in case the drive whose IHM is actually faulty and I need to send it back.
They both carry the same firmware (SC60).
Appreciate any help.
