I'm not a Linux guru, many NAS users here aren't either. I used the WD utilities to deep check my drives before installing them in the NAS, but it would be nice to be able to use the TOS disk check whitch doesn't require shutting down the system and moving the drive onto a Windows machine to periodically run the "Professional" utility. Running the TOS utility is also preferable because it can check multiple drives simultaneously while the WD utility can only run on one drive at a time. I'd still like to know where the TOS disk check places the logs and how to read them.
