F4-220: Adding a Different Network Shared Folder to TNAS?

I have a couple of questions:

1. Is it possible to add a shared folder (From a different server) to the F4-220?

2. Is there a way to expand beyond the 4 drives? (I tried an External 4Bay Drive, but when formatting I'll either get a non response or PMR)
