Accessing both file structures (F2-210 RAID1)

Post by haopop1 »

I just got an F2-210 and after a moderate learning curve got my RAID 1 up and running.

Question - do I have access to both file structures somehow? Right now I've got all my files in 'public'.

The only reason I wanted to do this was to manually verify that my data is on the second drive. If there is another way to do that please let me know.

Thank you,

The idea of a raid array is that you aren’t aware of the two drives, you have one file system visible to the user, but data on multiple hard drives is handled behind the scenes

You might want to get further advice but I guess one option would be to just pull out one hard drive and make sure the unit still functions and you have access to the data and do vice versa with the other hard drive etc to prove that the system is working as it should
