[Help] What is the maximum hard drive size I can use?

Post by Frosing »

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have a F4-423 NAS with 4 20 TB drives in a traid. I was planning on buying a D4-320 DAS and setting up another traid. From what I've read, the F4-423 has a max hard drive size of 20 TB and the D4-320 has a max hard drive size of 30 TB. If I go with drives over 20 TB will that cause issues for the F4-423?

Hello, you can use a hard disk larger than 20T, and there will be no compatibility issues.
