Hey
I would like to change from Triad to Single Disk
So far, I have deleted the volume of it and then tried to delete the Storage Pool - in the hope I can create a new one with Single Disk label.
Storage Pool disappears for a second then reappears still with the Traid label
Any help would be appreciated.
Obviously total Noob here
Many thanks in advance

TRAID is a kind of storage pool, so only delete the volume that will not help. The only way is to delete your current storage pool and create a new one.

Re: [Help] Change from Traid to Single Disk
Resetting the NAS (system) typically only resets the system configuration and does not affect the structure or configuration of the storage partitions.

Re: [Help] Change from Traid to Single Disk
Physically, pull out one of the disks that are part of the traid. Format that disk in a different system. Insert the disk and mount it as a single disk. Then copy the data off the degraded traid volume... then delete the traid pool.
Oh, NM its a new pool. Well if it is an exiting raid with data... my solution would work.
