fingers crossed it will be something simple that you havent done settings wise or something on your network that makes it not accept your username or password (one thing to make sure is you are typing in your username in the correct case as i believe it is case sensitive on the username as well as password)

F2-210, multiple windows 10 2004 computers on 4.1.30 works fine with about 6 or 7 different mapped drives to the nas drive

i replied to the support email yesterday and have sent team viewer details just after nine, no response yet.

All i want to do is to be able to map a drive to the shares and it dosent work. The shares do not show up in ip linked or network

Very frustrating

Had an technician look at the device today.

Saw lots of checking things and running this that and the other.

Removed and added users and changed admin passwords all to no avail (no matter how many times you click the OK button! :D )

I had to go back to work as the enginner had spent over 30 minutes attempting a fix.

Last message was you will need to reset the device.

I have a message from tech support on how to do that however I now have a non functioning device after following the advice. It will not get past the initialization part. Tech support now emailed.

Please stay tuned all! We will get there.

Last attempt today, if this does not work I will have to send it back...

Tech support emailed with teamviewer details. I also have a cup of tea.

Fingers crossed!

well this is interesting, the tech remoted in and within minutes the unit was checked and back up and running

still could not map a drive but the shares were visible.

eventually we could map the drives but on reboot they were not accessible.

I had to run chrome, get to the unit and restore the shared folders, another reboot confirmed this.

how do I get them to permanently stay?

I have two days left till i have to send this back but thanks to the tech for todays help!
