Merge two directories on a TOS5 NAS

Post by bidmead »

There seems to be no particular provision to do this through the WebUI with the standard TOS5 utilities. Instead, it occurred to me to select the contents of one directory and paste this into the second directory, expecting to be warned of duplicates with an option to avoid them.

But the Terramaster File Manager doesn't offer this option. Attempting to copy <item> into a directory where <item> already exists just creates a duplicate named <item>1.

So I'm wondering if there's a recommended way of merging a pair of directories on an individual TOS5 NAS using its WebUI?
