SMB creation keeps failing

SMB Creation keeps failing with "Operation Failed"

How do I see logs or diagnose why it is failing? I am trying to create a share under the "public" directory

Here is the info I filled out then I get the "Operation Failed" message

"Shared folder" is wrong, hover over the icon on the far right and you can see the correct format.

I tried these formats and still got operation failed.

I am using an existing username / password combo, is that correct?

the 4.63 is the ip of the tnas, the 1.1 is from the example

Please clear your browser cache. Check if the SMB version of your SMB server is too high or too low, and go to TOS-Control Panel-CIFS/SMB Service-Advanced, adjust the SMB version to the best compatibility: maximum SMB3 and minimum SMB1.

I tried both of those things still get failed

Are there error logs anywhere I can look and see what the issue is?

can you access that share from another computer (i.e not the computer that is hosting that share?) as it could be something as simple as a firewall on the computer thats blocking access?
