I have a new F4-210 - 4-bay.
Completely new to NAS.
Macos Big Sur.
Everything seems to be working fine through my browser but I cannot access via finder in macos.
Both afp://xxxxx and smb do not seem to recognize my password - which is input from keychain.
Both afp and smb file services are enabled in TOS Control Panel.
I have also tried copy/paste the username and password from safari passwords with the same result.
Any ideas what the problem might be?
afp/smb password macos finder issue.
Re: afp/smb password macos finder issue.
Clean up the browser cache, restart SMB and AFP services, if you still can’t connect, please tell us what error is prompted, it’s best to take a screenshot

Re: afp/smb password macos finder issue.
Assuming restart services means uncheck and then apple and then recheck and apply - done.
Assuming you mean my macos browser - done.
No change.
When I click "Connect" there is about a 2 second period and then the box moves side to side to indicate it hasn't been accepted.

Can other devices use AFP/SMB services successfully?

Re: afp/smb password macos finder issue.
Seems to connect on Ipad.
No indication that it is refusing the user/pass.
I can see a "share" folder.
When I click the folder it says
"Content Unavailable
The folder contents could not be displayed because fo an unknown error."

Re: afp/smb password macos finder issue.
I performed a factory reset and it now works as it should in this regard.
