Bond - Teaming.

Post by HoPeY »

F2-221 has 2 LAN ports and can be configured for Teaming/Bonding. Tried each setting and still maxing at 113MB/s. Not the SSDs involved or the receiving end (has 10G NIC). So my new Netgear GS110MX-100NAS the issue? It's not a managed switch, need managed features on switches to enable this?

The speed is not doubled directly with bond configured. Theoretically, the speed you get with an ethernet cable is 100MB/S, and with two and bond, it would be 200MB/S, while it means that when two people access the TNAS with bond, each of them will get 100MB.
