VPN connection fails after F4-220 upgraded to TOS 4.1.24

Post by RonnyK »

After I have upgraded F4-220 to TOS 4.1.24, connections through VPN always fail. Everything worked well in older TOS

The issue mentioned above is not related to VPN server, but VPN connection to 3rd party VPN service providers.

After I have installed latest TOS version 4.1.27. all issues were fixed. VPN connection issues been resolved and now you can connect your NAS to VPN service provider. What more, I have found out that Dropbox app in TOS started working too. In TOS 4.1.24. it became CPU hog and never finished initial dropbox log on. qBittorrent app started working aswell. in TOS 4.1.24 installed app was permanently switched off and I was unable to turn it on. It seems like TOS 4.1.27. is fixing loads of issues caused by TOS 4.1.24. Well done.

I have the same issue, with PPTP, L2TP, and OpenVPN. I was hoping upgrading to 4.1.27 would fix the issue, but I still cannot connect as a client to my VPN.

Thsi topic was created for the other issue. You are having issue with VPN Server (TOS app). Issue I have stated here was related to connecting your NAS to 3rd party VPN service providers (Control Panel/Network/VPN Connection) just for Your information. All good here ;-)
