Crontab entries lost after reboot

Post by digdug »

Changes to the crontab are lost after reboot. Is there a workaround?

In TOS in contrast to other NAS OS, I could not find anything to define custom tasks. Are there other options to periodically execute a task and have this setting saved permanently?

Many thanks!

You can try to change and save the settings use this command vi /etc/crontabs/root. The settings will not be lost with it after rebooting.
