Cannot login to F2-221 running 5.0.129

This just started to happen. I have successfully logged into the system numerous times since the update.

I haven't changed credentials however I alternately get the pop-up of either the password, username or verification code is incorrect.

I can type the exact 4 digit "captcha" style code that appears and it tells me I have the incorrect code every time.

Does the system need internet access for logging in now? The system is behind a firewall and doesn't have internet access except for granted exceptions.

This system is the rsync server for another F2-221 and the backups are getting logged as completed. The credentials for the rsync are the same account that I am trying to log into.

Wound up reinstalling TOS (5.0.130) and didn't turn on 2FA. Clearly 2FA isn't working because it won't accept any of the Captcha verification codes that are getting generated.

If this happen again, please let us know. And the 2FA feature will not work until the new mobile app is released. Please just wait for a while.

Since you say that the updated TNAS Mobile is needed to utilize 2FA, it would appear that internet access will be required in order to utilize 2FA.

In the above scenario I was writing about, I was using TNAS PC (windows 10). Currently running the 5.0.31 release. The "5" releases don't do anything except report in the TNAS device's IP addresses. In older versions when I would select a server it would give options to log in, change IP etc. Now, when I select a TNAS device, it does nothing at all. Does't matter if the TNAS unit in on 4 or 5.

In the attachment, the only running TNAS is on 4.2.39. It is selected (greyed out) but provides no options.

2FA does not need an internet connection.
TNAS PC 5.0.x is only for TOS 5, if you running TOS 4, you need the old TNAS PC version.

I have a mixed environment with TOS 4 and 5. The TOS 5 system was not turned on at the time of the screenshot but it doesn't matter. The TNAS desktop doesn't work for the TOS 4 or the TOS 5 system. Even if I disconect the TOS 4 system and run only the TOS 5 machine the current version of desktop doesn't work. I can't run 2 versions of desktop anyway so when will this be addressed? With the issues that I have had with TOS 5, I will be running TOS 4 on my production unit for a longer time.
