Failed to initialise

Post by JohnP »

Sorry to bring up a familiar topic, but I can't seem to get what I need from previous posts. I have a new F2-210 NAS which is being recognised as on the network of my MacAir (M1; BigSur). However, when I try to login, I receive the following message on Safari "can't connect to the server tnas-bc5d-local". This occurs also when i input the IP address into the browser. The same occurs with Chrome. However .... yesterday, when first trying to login, it did get to the initialisation phase but clearly it didn't complete, since the NAS now is identified as not initialised. Any suggestions? With thanks.
