Custom raid sets using D5 Thunderbolt 3
Custom raid sets using D5 Thunderbolt 3
If I use a 5bay thunderbolt 3 D5 is there a way to create a Raid 0 set of 4x 2TB ssds then have a single 10 TB hard drive mirroring the raid 0 set, this is not Raid 6/Raid 10/Raid 1+0/0+1 as i will not have equal amounts of drives in the raid sets?
Re: Custom raid sets using D5 Thunderbolt 3
Hi, this won’t work.
A raid 0 is not able to migrate to raid 1, you called mirroring. Single disk can migrate to raid 1, raid 1 can migrate to raid 5,raid 5 can migrate to raid 6, but not raid 0 to raid 1.
